Victoria Park Pavilion - Widnes Set within a Victorian park adjacent to the bowling greens the building forms part of Halton Borough Council’s restoration of Victoria park Widnes. A Heritage lottery funded project to return the park to its former glory. Protection of the building on a vandal prone site and long life expectancy are key factors in the brief. The building is constructed from body coloured concrete, with a concrete and hedge wall to the north. The south elevation has glazing opening to the café, at night the glazing is protected by sliding ss mesh screens. The building accommodates a cafe, toilets ranger station and multipurpose hall.
